June Update

OPEN PAIRS - This club competition is taking place on Saturday 30th June. For more details please look at the competitions /single day competitions pages or at the competitions notice board. This is going to be played as a round robin which will ensure everyone gets at least 2 games. Please show who you will be playing with on the list on the notice board or by updating Paul on the link below. If you have not already put your name down but would like to play or have not got a partner just let Paul know. The more the merrier. All should bring along a picnic lunch on the day and of course it will be good to see lots of social members.

QUIZ DATE - this has been changed to 29th September (was originally 8th September). Please put this date in your diary and start to "arrange your table(s)". This is an important fund raiser for the club and a really fun evening.

SHIRTS - the new club shirts have arrived and look really good. Kim will have the shirts at the pavilion ahead of today's (14th June) friendly match, next Tuesday morning and next Thursday afternoon during roll ups. Shirts have been set aside for those who pre-ordered but we have shirts available in a range of sizes for members that would like to buy one. They cost just £16. (you can pay in cash or by cheque payable to Biddenden Bowls Club).

LADIES FOURS COUNTY KNOCK OUT - Chris, Maggie, Denise and Kim won a closely fought game against Borough Green Bowls Club (last years winners of the overall competition) and now progress to the 3rd round which will be played at Biddenden next Wednesday against a team from Bromley Bowls Club. 9 club members came along to support them despite the rather chilly evening.
