OPEN PAIRS

This was another very warm day, similar to 2018, with 28 members entering the competition. The competition was run as a knockout with those pairs losing their first match having the opportunity to enter the "plate" competition. Many matches were very close with several requiring extra ends to decide, both semi-final scores, in the main competition,  were 9 -8, the final will be contested by Jim and Jane against Paul and Kim

We ran out of time to fully complete the plate event, with one semi-final Jean and Norman against Terry F and Graham to be played during the coming weeks, the winner will meet Ron and Terry S on finals weekend.
