and

Best Wishes for a Happy and Healthy 2021

A message from Jeannette

"Sadly, we are unable to meet together this year to enjoy our normal Christmas gathering and drink!! However, the Committee and myself recognise that this time of year brings an end to what has been a very challenging 2020 for everyone

Christmas is a time not only for reminiscing but also for looking forward. We are all anticipating and eagerly await getting back together at the green in 2021.

We would like to take this opportunity to say we hope you all find many reasons to celebrate and may the New Year bring fresh hopes and bright new beginnings to everyone."

Christmas Cake Raffle

Well Sue J's 2020 baking has come to a climax as she supplies many of us with Mince Pies and Sausage Rolls but surely the highlight has been her beautiful Christmas Cake. The draw took place today and the lucky winner was "David and Pat". The runner up prize of a bottle of Sherry (kindly donated by Ralph and Shirley) was won by new member Sandy and a Bottle of Baileys (donated by Ron King on behalf of the ukulele group) was won by Ann. Big thank you to all those who entered and especially to Sue for her amazing fund raising.

Sad News

Barrett Manning, one of the founders of our club and a life member, passed away recently aged 91. He attended our 25th Anniversary celebrations and was a proud member of Biddenden Bowls Club.

SeventySeven Wealth Management

Our longstanding sponsor and supporter has sent a lovely Christmas Card to the club. Thank you, Clare and James and all the 77 team for your involvement with the club and the sport of Bowls.

Well that's about it for Bowls 2020 but ROLL ON 2021
